Nude Series: Nude Everything

Hey everybody! I've been meaning to post something this week for you guys and it's finally here! I'm so happy because I ended my last exam on Thursday and now I can post more frequently. In celebration that exams are over, my friends and I decided to go for drinks at Joeys in downtown and yes, I ordered the Ramen noodle bowl again! :) Comment down below what's your favourite thing to order from Joeys because I want to try something new! After Joeys, we went to Bella Gelateria at the Fairmont Pacific Rim to get some gelato. Right now my favourite ice-cream flavour is bubble gum ice-cream! It's actually funny because I never use to crave it before. I only ate it when I was a little girl, but now I think my tastebuds are changing because every ice-cream place I go to, I will not get any other flavour other than bubble gum!
As you guys know from my Instagram, I am in a phase where all I wear is either nude or khaki green! So this outfit shouldn't be a surprise to you ;) Of course, I went with an all nude colour scheme. This jogger set is suede which makes it less casual to wear out! I absolutely love it and bought it from a small store in my town, however, I know there are other versions online I will link down below for you guys! I recently just got this bomber jacket in the mail and I know I have a bomber jacket in every single colour, but I couldn't resist purchasing this one since the white stripes on the side of the arms gives an outfit a sporty vibe. Anytime I wear a whole track suit set I always lean towards my white Nike huaraches because they make an outfit look so fly and literally goes with everything! I personally chose my white ones because it matched perfectly with the stripped detailing on the arms of my bomber jacket. I am a huge sucker for sunglasses and I recently bought these reflective ones from a store in the UK. I love them because they bring so much sass to an outfit! ;) Last but not least, I have been using this handbag a lot, which is not a surprise because it goes with anything I wear! But stay tuned because I got another handbag coming in the mail which you guys will love!

Simple Fits

Hey loves! I wore this outfit to dinner at my Joeys restaurant on Friday night. It was such a nice night to get out and have some drinks before my last exam that is coming up this week! Since the Joeys on Burrard is a lot more fancy than the others, it was an excuse to dress up ;) I've been to a few Joeys locations, however, the Burrard location is by far my favorite since they have a test kitchen, which means they have all the unique and different items on the menu. I tried their ramen noodle bowl for the first time on Friday and it is now going to be my new obsession! I was surprised that I loved it so much because normally I dont like traditional ramen bowls with so many ingredients in it, but this one was more westernized with only noodles, chicken, pork broth, and veggies! Very simple, yet delicious af!

This khaki green hoodie paired with these mocha leggings make my outfit a bit more casual which is the perfect way to dress up without looking like you are trying too hard! I kept the outfit very simple since the heels are lace-up and used only two color schemes. My favorite part about this outfit is how comfy it is, especially with this hoodie. Pairing a loose hoodie with tighter pants is the perfect balance and doesn't make you look like you just rolled out of bed!

Neutrals

Many of my followers on Instagram or even friends always ask me: "where can I wear these outfits to?". To answer these questions, I will start to incorporate some of my daily activities within each outfit post to give you an idea on how to choose the appropriate outfit for an event or activity and also to share with you guys bits of my personal life. I wore this outfit to a nice patio dinner for my boyfriend and I's anniversary at Pier 7 in North Vancouver. If you are ever in that area you guys should seriously check it out! Not only is the food amazing, but the waterfront view is beautiful! We go there all the time, the lady practically knows us and I always end up ordering their risotto with a refreshing lavender lemonade!
If you're like me who doesn't like to wear bright colours, then wearing light neutral colours is the perfect way to brighten up your spring wardrobe! I like to keep things nice and simple by pairing my khaki green midi dress that is so stretchy and comfortable, with a nude bomber jacket. I find no matter what you are wearing, a bomber jacket can make an overdressed outfit look more casual and effortless, which is exactly the look I was trying to achieve. For accessories, I always like to stick within the same colour palette but with different textures. I went with a taupe leather handbag along with nude sueded heels to complete the look!

Enjoy your weekend!

Baby Pink

Normally I don't write in my blog posts as I like to keep things nice and simple, but I thought this would be the perfect outfit to do so! Since spring is here, I went with a fresh look wearing all baby pink and nude accents. I personally like this colour because it makes me appear much more tanned than I am ;) The leather baseball cap, dress, and lace up heels are all from wantmylook.com. The best part is they are very affordable, which I am always down for! Here's a nice tip: any knee high boots or lace up heels paired with a shorter dress will make anyone appear taller, have longer legs, and most importantly, gain a little bit more confidence! :)
