The Camo Series: Baggy Tee's

Hey babes! Yesterday, I had a huge day full of errands and meeting up with friends for drinks! I of course had my nail appointment in the morning and then headed to my first laser appointment which I have been wanting to get for forever now. I was so scared at first, but it wasn't as painful as I thought. Let me know if you guys know any good laser hair removal places in Vancouver that you suggest and if you want to know the place I go to just DM me on Instagram because they have such good deals! After, I met up with one of my friends and caught up with her and took these pictures. I tried out this little taco place for dinner in Gastown called Gringo with one of my other girlfriend from university and had some drinks as well. The taco place wasn't too bad, but I don't think I'll go back there anytime soon just because the tacos weren't as satisfying as this other taco place I go to! However, their drinks were really good and their servers were very friendly, making it such a chill atmosphere. I didn't do too much after, just had a girls night back at home and watched some movies! :)
This outfit is perfect to just run around the city in. It's super comfy with the oversized tee and the booties are super easy to walk in because they are a chunkier heel. The oversized tee is actually from the men's section of H&M! It's crazy how sometimes I can find better pieces in the men's section than woman! I just went for the bigger size so I could wear it as a dress. I've been really loving this bandana trend lately. It adds a nice touch to the outfit and this time I tied it around my purse to give it some hood vibes ;) My heels are not something everyone would attempt to wear, however, they are inspired by Kim Kardashian's see-through booties that she wore from the Yeezy collection. Any heels that are clear and see-through are in this season since the Yeezy collection was launched. The bomber jacket that I wore in one of the pictures below is one of my all time favourite unique pieces I ever copped! It's something that not a lot of people have and definitely brings a Yeezus vibe to any outfit! Last but not least, I layered a bunch of necklaces with a black choker to complete the look!

Nude Series: Mocha Colours

Hey babes! Last Friday, I went out for dinner to Pier 7 in North Vancouver again! I know I always go to this place for dinner or rave about it a lot, but I can't get enough of their tasty food! This time I didn't order my usual chicken and risotto, but instead I ordered their creamy pasta with chorizo in it. Anything with chorizo sausage in it is my fave because I love spicy food and plus, all Portuguese people love their chorizo ;) After dinner, there was a mini street market festival outside that was going on and I ended up getting a nice organic strawberry lemonade popsicle for dessert! Overall, it was a nice night to enjoy the beautiful weather and view of the waterfront!
For this outfit, I went with a dressier look because Pier 7 is a fancier restaurant. I wore this nude set, which I am in love with because it flatters your body shape, making it appear more curvy. I've recently been wearing a lot of two-piece sets because it is so easy to wear! You literally don't have to worry about matching your top and bottoms at all! I personally think the skirt from this set is so unique with the lace-up detailing on the side and it is a nice shiny material which will bring out your tan! It was a little chilly outside because we were near the water, so I threw on this long sheer trench, which is a mocha caramel colour that goes well with this set. It also creates the appearance of longer legs and definitely makes you feel like a bo$$ b**** when you are strutting as it flows in the air! ;') The gold necklace I am wearing is so simple and delicate and doesn't draw attention away from the actual outfit, but adds an accident of gold that brings out your tanned skin. Finally, I paired this outfit with some nude lace-up heels (as always) to match the lace-up detailing on the side of the skirt!

Distressed Denim

Last Sunday, my lovely boyfriend made a nice eggs benny breakfast for us and after we decided to go hit up downtown Robson for some shopping and cruise through Stanley Park. We stopped at Thierry because we discovered that they have the best raspberry lemonade in Vancouver and it tasted so refreshing! I hate lemonade that's too sour, but their lemonade is the perfect balance between sour and sweet. I stopped at a few of my go-to stores, such as Forever21 and Sephora. However, I didn't find anything that caught my eye. I think I was having one of those days where I just didn't feel like buying anything. I have also been having more trouble shopping in stores, now that I am so use to shopping online! I just love finding unique pieces online that I know not many other girls in Vancouver will have. When you live in a big city it is really hard to stand out from the rest or have your own unique style because a lot of people here dress so similar!
I chose to go with a casual laid back outfit with a pop of red. Personally, this is one of my favourite outfits by far. These boyfriend-fit distressed denim shorts are a nice light blue wash and have the perfect amount of distressing on them. I paired them with a simple black tank top that I tied up into a knot in the front to give my body more of a curvy shaped appearance rather than a square shaped one. Since the main focus is on the distressed denim, it is always better to go with a simple top. My black heels are just simple single-strapped ones that match with the top and purse. To make more of a statement, I tied this red bandana around my neck and put on my favourite matte liquid lipstick from ColourPop Cosmetics which I will link down below! Last but not least, I get so many questions on Instagram about where I get these sunglasses from. I literally got them from eBay for only $8!! What a steal, right?! Don't worry, the direct link for them will also be down below! Enjoy your weekend loves and stay tuned for next week's post!

Sporty Barbie

On Friday, I was able go out with one of my girlfriend's from high school and catch up at Tap & Barrel! It was so hot for Vancouver weather but, it was a little bit windy where we were so I wore this baby pink leggings set. I personally love sets like these because you don't have to worry about piecing an outfit together if you're in a rush and you can decide if you want to wear it casually with some nice kicks, or dress it up with some heels! The colour of this set makes me feel like such a bad ass barbie, I love it ;) Not to mention, the fabric of this set is very high quality with a stretchy spandex feel to them. Very comfortable! You guys know I love my shoes, so I paired this outfit with some nice fresh white Adidas Tubular Defiant kicks to give this outfit a sporty vibe! This outfit also really reminds me of something Kylie Jenner would wear so it can definitely give you some inspiration!

Pink Baby

On Thursday, I was able to catch up with one of my girlfriends from school at Rogue restaurant. It was such a nice day outside to have a couple drinks and just chill out before school starts back up again next week! I cannot wait until it's finally summer because I am planning to go on a nice vacay! Do you guys have any plans for this summer? If so, I'm curious to know where you guys are headed to so let me know!
This outfit was inspired by an effortless and comfortable "model off duty" look. Of course, I bought the same bomber jacket that was in my last post in the pink colour. I just couldn't resist especially when it gives such chic girly vibes! I love how these white jogger pants are high-waisted so you can easily wear any cropped top with it without feeling like you are revealing too much skin. I also love how they're distressing on the knees to give it that denim effect without feeling uncomfortable! The Calvin Klein bra also matched perfectly with this outfit, giving it that fresh white on white colour scheme. I never liked wearing chokers before because I wanted to keep things simple, however, I recently got into them because I found that they look so good on anyone when their hair is effortlessly up and away from the face! It is the perfect accessory to wear when you don't have time to do your hair or if you're just lazy! Lastly, I wanted to talk about these furry white Fenty Puma X Rihanna slides I recently purchased. I know they look crazy and some people will look at you like "wtf", but I assure you they are the biggest thing right now! I bought mine online the second they released it and they are currently sold out everywhere (except eBay and other resellers). They are the perfect luxury slide and definitely will make you feel a little classy ;) Although my style is always evolving, I always stick to the basic principle of keeping things simple using the same colour scheme!
