Denim On Denim, Baby

Hey loves! I am currently done school for my second year and I am finally ready to just chill out and have some me time alongside of working as much as I can! Last Sunday is when I shot this look and didn't do much that day except for run errands and go for a nice dinner at Cactus Club on Coal Harbour to watch the basketball game with my boyfriend. I love that location because it makes you feel super calm watching the ocean sunset!
Recently, I've been cleaning my closet out and found a couple timeless pieces that never go out of style! I found this denim button-up distressed top that matched perfectly with these vintage denim shorts I once made myself when I had a DIY phase haha! These two clothing pieces were perfect for a classic denim on denim look! I decided to glam this look up a bit with my go-to right now, a bandana of course! Im also in love with these clear strapped heels. They remind me so much of the ones that came out for the Yeezy Season 3 collection except they won't hurt your wallet! To complete the look I paired this outfit with this cute faux fur backpack. I bought this backpack because it looks very similar to the furry backpack that Kylie Jenner wore in one of her recent Instagram post, so you can say it is definitely a unique statement piece! I'm in love with it! Unfortunately, I will not be linking my outfit below as my top is very old and my shorts are self made, however, I will link all my accessories below and hopefully you guys can still get some inspiration from this outfit to create your own!

Nude Series: Tube Tops

Hey babes! Sorry I did not update the blog this weekend! I've been very busy with my last week of school, but I assure you that I'm trying really hard to keep things consistent! On Friday, I met up with a few of my girlfriends and watched "Finding Dory". Let me tell you, you guys have to watch it because it is the cutest thing and to be honest, I balled my eyes out during the part when Dory is reunited with her parents. :') In my opinion, I think it is a good movie for all ages and would totally recommend it! Watch it in 3D if you can because the graphics are amazing!
It was warm on Friday so I wore thin leggings and a tube top with a bomber jacket for when it got colder in the evening. And yes, whether you like it or not, tube tops are back in! I personally like them only with high waisted bottoms, such as, leggings, skirts, or denim Levi shorts to stay on the more conservative side! If you wanna know a secret, I bought mine from the dollar store for only $1.25 and I really don't care that it is not a high end item! It is how it looks, not what it's worth. To add some sass to the outfit, I added this nude bandana that I also bought from the dollar store and created it into a choker that I tied around my neck. This is such an easy and affordable outfit you can wear to a casual activity and I will have the links to everything (except the items from the dollar store) for you down below!

Vintage & Distressed

Hey babes! Last Saturday, I had such a blast going to the night market and eating tons of food! Every time I go I always end up having a huge bowl of chow mien ;) I am going to keep it simple today and go straight into the outfit details!
The outfit I wore was inspired by a "model off duty" Gigi Hadid look! Distressed denim Levi's with a vintage tee is the perfect way to look badass without having to put in so much effort. Top it off with a nice handbag as a statement piece and a bold red lip and you are good to go!

Nude Series: Tanned Out & Clear Boots

It's finally the weekend! I somehow always get excited to wear my outfits on the weekend! It is definitely what motivates me during the school and work week to go the extra mile and I find it crazy that clothing has that effect on me. Friday was such a lovely night! I went out for dinner with my boyfriend to our favourite sushi restaurant called Koko's on Hastings. They always serve fresh sushi and it is very inexpensive! After, we headed to Gastown and Robson for some shopping. It was such a hot, warm night to just stroll around and listen to the sound of the busy city! A little shoutout to all the girls at the stores I walked into who complimented me on my outfit, you guys are the sweetest thing! I am so happy that our world is still filled with beautiful people who bring others self-esteem up and not down. Of course, I had to stop by Thierry to get some macaroons and my fave raspberry lemonade after!
My outfit is definitely a risky one, however, I've always been a risk-taker when it comes to clothing! This is the perfect going-out outfit and it is so comfy, it literally is pyjamas or what I would wear to bed! My nude tee and spandex shorts is from my current fave online store called Sorella Boutique. They have more of a Yeezy vibe to their clothing. I think the best statement piece of this outfit are these heels because they are clear! You would never see anyone on the streets with clear heels and I think that's why everyone was starring! Haha! But, I assure you guys that these aren't just any clear heels, they were inspired by the Yeezy collection and the ones I'm wearing are obviously WAY cheaper! These heels were also seen on Kim Kardashian and other celebrities. My nude sueded bag gives this outfit some life because it is so big and it feels like you are carrying luxurious luggage ;) It's not Celine, but I honestly couldn't care less! Remember guys, it's not about the name, it's about how it looks! On my neck, I am wearing this rose gold diamond choker, which dresses the outfit up and also gives it such a girly touch. Last but not least, I am wearing gold hoops because, like every old style, they are back in! Talk to you guys next week!
