Denim Series: Thigh High Boots & Distressed Choker
Hey babes, welcome back! Been very busy (as usual) so that is why the blogposts have been slowing down, but if you follow me on Instagram (@melchenxoxo) I post a lot of other outfits there that are not on here! The outfit that I wore below I have been dying to show you guys for months now, but was waiting for the appropriate time to where it! As December is approaching, it is getting very cold and if you guys are planning to have a night out, then this is the perfect outfit to dress up yet not show too much skin! I find that thigh high boots are perfect for the winter season when you want to wear a dress, but not have your legs cold all night! A tip that I do is wear knee high socks under my boots for extra warmth and no one can even tell!
On another note, the corset trend is blowing up all over my Instagram feed and I thought I'd show you guys how I style mine. I paired mine with an over-sized white tee because the corset cinches in the sides to give my body more of a curvy shape than a boxy figure! I decided that since this white tee is plain, I was going to go with the denim on denim look by having all my accents denim. Another trend right now are these denim thigh high boots and to be honest, they may seem a little crazy, but I love styling different fabrics together because it gives an outfit more texture! Lastly, the denim choker has also been a huge trend! What I like about this one is that it is lace up in the back, so if you wanted to, you can bring it forward and have it lace up at the front!
